Shooter Asaman, who is accused in the murder case and has a reward of five lakh rupees, was brought to Prayagraj from Bihar's Gaya jail on transit remand. Asaman is said to be the shooter of mafia Atiq Ahmed and had been in Gaya jail for almost three years. Today, Dhumanganj police produced him in the court of ADJ SC-ST Kumar Mayank. During the appearance, Asaman demanded a free lawyer for his defense, and the court ordered the appointment of a government lawyer. The next hearing in the case will be after 14 days. Security arrangements were made at the court complex considering the appearance. The police are now waiting for the court's order for custody remand.
