Legendary actor Nanasaheb Patil's last rites were held at his farmhouse, Nanachya Wadi, in Pune, Maharashtra, with full state honors. His son, Malhar Patil, performed the last rites in the presence of family members, relatives, friends, and fans around 11:30 PM. Before the last rites, the late actor was given a guard of honor. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Suneeta Pawar paid homage at Nanasaheb Patil's arrival at Pune Airport. Many film personalities also attended the last rites, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over Nanasaheb Patil's demise. He said that Nanasaheb Patil's distinguished contribution to Hindi and Marathi cinema will be remembered for generations.
