Chitrakoot: Police are on alert over the Pitru Visarjan Amavasya fair. Under the direction of Police Superintendent Arun Kumar Singh, the Bandha anti-sabotage team, dog squad, and LIU conducted a stringent checking campaign at Ramghat, Sitapur, and Parikrama Marg. During this time, checks were carried out on ghats, temples, hotels, dharmashalas, and suspicious individuals and vehicles. The police are continuously monitoring to ensure the safety of devotees and maintain law and order.
