The central government, in collaboration with state governments, is implementing the Prime Minister's Rooftop Solar Power Scheme with subsidies. To create awareness among the people of Ariyalur district, an exhibition on installing solar power generation systems in homes was held at the District Collector's Complex, organized by Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. The exhibition was inaugurated by the District Collector Mirunalini, who questioned about the scheme. In this, the procedures for installing solar power systems, bank loan facilities, authorized dealers, and procedures for obtaining subsidies were explained to the public. The District Collector distributed leaflets containing information on installing solar power systems to the public, creating awareness. Many people, including senior officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, participated in this event. When asked about the scheme, Parameswari, the Executive Engineer of Perambalur Electricity Distribution Circle, said
